MSDE inks MoU with ISB to further capacity building of officer in its ecosystem

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has signed an agreement with the Indian School of Business (ISB) to help officers in its ecosystem with their capacity building.
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and the Indian School of Business have collaborated to undertake a capacity-building programme for MSDE officials, in accordance with 'Mission Karmayogi', which aims for capacity building and modernising the mindset, methodology, and skill set of government employees.
A total of 120 officers consisting of 30 people per batch from the various divisions for MSDE will attend a five-day residential training session at the ISB Hyderabad and Mohali campuses.
A convocation ceremony was held for the first batch of 30 officers who finished their training at the ISB Mohali campus.
The MSDE Management Development Programme aims to upskill MSDE officers by facilitating capacity-building training for a diverse group of officials, including MSDE officers, Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) Principals, Sector Skill Councils, CEOs, State Skill Mission Directors, and Jan Sikshan Sansthans (JSS) & National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) directors (NSDC).
Further, the programme primarily aims to solidify leadership skills in addition to developing a strategic mindset that will help to acquire insights into data analytics and digital transformation.
The MSDE and ISB collaboration aims at encouraging officials to inculcate a culture of innovation within their respective organisations via strategic leadership and management development programmes.
To ensure continued success, the batches are strategically designed to encourage cross-learning while embracing new challenges and comprehending complexities.
