ISRO creates history with the 100th launch from Sriharikota
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Wednesday (January 29, 2025) morning launched its historic 100th launch from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The GSLV-F15 with the NVS-02 satellite lifted off from the spaceport’s second launch pad at 6.23 am.
Stampede breaks out at Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj; casualties feared, rescue ops underway
Multiple casualties were feared after a “stampede-like” situation broke out at the Sangam on Wednesday (January 29, 2025) amid the ongoing Maha Kumbh, as a large number of pilgrims turned up for a holy bath on Mauni Amavasya, officials said .Officer on Special Duty for the Mela Akanksha Rana said, “Some people have got injured and have been hospitalised after a barrier broke at the Sangam.
