KRCL Chairman and Managing Director Santosh Kumar Jha chaired the meeting, attended among others by Independent External Monitors Meenakshi Mishra and Manoj Kumar Chhabra. The gathering provided a platform for open dialogue and collaborative engagement between Konkan Railway and its business partners, said a release.
The programme was aimed to strengthen collaboration, streamline tendering processes and address operational challenges. The event featured insightful presentations, interactive sessions and constructive discussions covering key aspects such as tendering procedures (Goods, Works & Services), vendor registration, payment processes including GST related issues, and emerging business opportunities with KRCL.
Special emphasis was placed on hand-holding of MSME vendors, promoting participation of Women and SC/ST entrepreneurs, as well as addressing concerns related to scrap disposal and grievance redressal mechanisms.
