DMK MP Kanimozhi reports over 400 election promises fulfilled, highlighting collaboration and community input in Ramanathapuram meeting.
More than 400 of the promises made by the DMK during the last elections have been fulfilled, stated DMK MP Kanimozhi in Ramanathapuram.
The DMK election manifesto preparation committee meeting was held in Ramanathapuram under the leadership of DMK Deputy General Secretary Kanimozhi here on Tuesday.
Addressing the press there, she stated, “Out of 505 promises made by the DMK during the last elections, more than 400 have been fulfilled by the DMK government. A few promises could not be implemented due to a lack of cooperation from the Union Government, while others are under consideration,”
“Regarding the Congress, individuals may say anything, but there is a good relationship between leaders of the DMK and Congress. It is AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami who tells lies every day,” she said.
On the meeting, she said, as various organisations have shared their views, their suggestions would be reviewed, and eligible ones would be included in the election manifesto.
In Ramanathapuram district, demands regarding basic infrastructure deficiencies and specifically the issues faced by fishermen have been submitted and they would be reviewed, she added.
