Four-day Puducherry film festival to begin on February 12

Join the Puducherry Film Festival from February 12-15, featuring screenings in 35 languages and free entry!
Chief Minister N. Rangasamy on Tuesday released the logo for Puducherry Film Festival 2026 scheduled to be held here from February 12 to 15.
Mr. Rangasamy would inaugurate the festival on Thursday at an event to be held on the Beach Road. He will also distribute this year’s Sankaradoss Swamigal Award to directors Karthik Subburaj for the film Jigarthanda Double X and Dinesh Selvaraj for Kadal Kanni at the inaugural event.
Films in around 35 languages will be screened at Kamarajar Manimandapam during the four-day event. While International films would be screened at Alliance Francaise auditorium, children’s films will be screened at Dr Abdul Kalam Science Centre and Planetarium. Audience will get free entry on a first-come, first-served basis. The shows would start from morning.
