Marathi actor Navnath Gaikwad, known for films Fatteshikast and Farzand, died of Covid-19 complications. He was undergoing treatment for the novel coronavirus at a hospital in Mumbai. Digpal Lanjekar, writer-director of Fatteshikast and Farzand, confirmed the news. He took to Facebook to mourn the actor's demise. His note in Marathi reads, “Navnath Gaikwad, a very talented and hardworking artist who worked in Farjand and Fatteshikast, passed away tragically due to Corona. May his soul rest in peace."
