
Manchester-bound IndiGo flight makes U-turn near Ethiopia border, returns to Delhi

According to flight tracking data, the aircraft reached close to the airspace near the border of Ethiopia before abruptly turning around mid-flight. The aircraft later re-entered Indian airspace.
A Delhi–Manchester flight operated by IndiGo made an unexpected mid-air U-turn near the Ethiopia border on Monday. The reason for the U-turn was not immediately known.
Flight 6E33, operated using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, had departed from Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi and was en route to Manchester in the United Kingdom.

The reason for the sudden U-turn remains unclear. Airline officials have not yet issued an official statement explaining the development.
