Delhi High Court puts on hold adverse remarks against CBI in liquor policy case order
In nominal relief to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the Delhi liquor policy scam case, the Delhi High Court on Monday put on hold an adverse remark made by a local court while it cleared former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, and Manish Sisodia of all charges.
The High Court struck down the remark made by the Rouse Avenue Court, which had said the CBI's theory was "demonstrably erroneous, economically illiterate and legally unsustainable," as it observed that the prosecution could not present solid and substantial evidence against the accused.
This is a developing story. It will be updated.
