The doors of the famous Kedarnath temple will open for devotees on May 6, 2022. The opening dates were announced on the occasion of Shivratri at Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath.
On the occasion of Maha Shivratri 2022, the door opening dates of Kedarnath was announced at the Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath, the winter seat.
This year, the doors of Kedarnath will open from May 6. The doors will open for the devotees on May 6 at 6:25 am.
Meanwhile, the Kedarnath Doli will leave Omkareshwar Temple, the winter seat, on May 2.
While the Doli will leave the Omkareshwar Temple, the winter seat, on May 2, it will be departing from Vishwanath Temple Guptkashi on May 3.
Departing from Phata on May 4, there will be an overnight stay at Gaurikund via Sonprayag. It will depart from Gaurikund on May 5 and it will reach Kedarnath via Junglechatti, Lincholi, Rudra Point.
The Kedarnath Yatra preparations also started today.
