Maha producer says court did not order a stay on Hansika's film. Read statement

Maha producer Mathiyazhagan issued a statement saying that the Madras High Court did not issue a stay on the release of the film. Maha stars Hansika and Simbu in lead roles.

Rumours were rife that the Madras High Court has stayed Hansika and Simbu's upcoming film, Maha. However, producer Mathiyazhagan of Etcetera Entertainment has issued a statement clarifying the rumours. He revealed that the case filed by the film's director UR Jameel was heard on May 19. The producer also informed everyone that Madras High Court hasn't stayed the release of Maha. Producer Mathiyazhagan, in a statement, said that there is no stay order on Maha. He further added that director UR Jameel had filed a petition with the Court regarding the film. Mathiyazhagan confirmed that Maha's shooting was wrapped up in February.The statement read, "There are talks in social media and other online media that the movie Maha has not been completed and an order of stay has been ordered by the Hon'ble Madras High Court. The said news is fake and baseless."
