All the schools and colleges in Lucknow have been shut down till April 15 due to the sudden surge of Covid-19 cases in the city.
All the educational institutes in Lucknow, including schools and colleges, have been shut down till April 15, as per the order of the city administration. This decision has been taken due to the rapid spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Lucknow in the past few days. Though all the educational institutes in the city have been closed as per the order of the government, the institutes imparting medical education can remain open during this time as the Covid-19 pandemic has increased the need for medical professionals. The district magistrate further said that the examinations including the practical examinations will be allowed in recognised educational institutes with strict adherence to the Covid-19 precautionary measures issued by the city administration.
