Loco pilots saved the life of an elephant standing close to a railway track by applying brakes on time. The video was shared on the official Twitter account of Alipurduar Division, NF Railway.
It is always disheartening as well as heart-wrenching to come across news where we hear of an elephant or two losing their lives while crossing the railway tracks. These news are indeed upsetting, but this ends up happening often. However, a video that has now gone viral on social media features an elephant walking adjacent to the railway tracks who was saved by two loco pilots. In the video that has now gone viral on social media, the elephant can be seen moving away from the tracks and entering the jungle as the train continues to move forward.
