The lion may be the king of the jungle, but sometimes this majestic big cat finds itself in a tight spot. There are several videos on the internet that prove that lions can be equally afraid and goofy like other smaller animals of the jungle. A video shot in Africa that shows one such lion has gone viral and may simply make you giggle.

Shared on Instagram, the video shows the lion clinging to a tree for his dear life as a herd of buffaloes can be seen roaming behind the tree. The scared big cat tries hard to hang onto the tree as the buffalo herd refuses to leave the spot.

Incidentally, a similar sight was captured on camera in 2015 by a couple during a safari at Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya. According to DailyMail, the lion was attacked by a herd of angry buffaloes who were trying to protect their newborn calf.
