Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor are currently promoting their film, Laal Singh Chaddha. The actors have reunited after 3 Idiots and, needless to add, fans are looking forward to watching the movie. Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi adaption of the Hollywood film, Forrest Gump, featuring Tom Hanks. For those unaware, Kareena's character in the original film was dark and intense. On these lines, Aamir was recently asked if the actress' character was altered for the Hindi adaption.

During a recent media interaction, Aamir Khan stated that Laal Singh Chaddha is not a light-hearted film from any angle. "It is a film that has a lot of humour. It also has a lot of piognant momnets emotionally," said Aamir.

Talking about Kareena's character, Aamir said, "Kareena's character is the one that has been altered the most, amongst the characters from the original. Because we don't have that cultural references of hippies and drugs. Uss type ka tha nahi kabhi humare environment mein. So we have altered her [character] appropriately as to what is relevant in our society. That has been altered."

Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan. The film marks Naga Chaitanya's Bollywood debut and it also stars Mona Singh. The film is all set to release on August 11, 2022 and it will clash with Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan.
