As Russia's invasion of Ukraine enters the 19th day on Monday, India Today takes a look inside the metro station which has effectively become a bomb shelter for hundreds of Ukrainians.

Metro stations in Kyiv have been dubbed to be safe amidst the raging war. People who do not have bomb shelters in their neighbourhood have taken solace here.

Since it is not possible to go out to buy groceries or any food items, the food is brought for the people inside the metro station, twice a day.
