A domestic helper looted cash and other valuables from her employers' home in West Bengal after lacing their tea with sleeping pills. The incident took place in the Khardaha area of North 24 Parganas district near Kolkata on Saturday. The owner of the home is a police officer who works at Bankshal Court in Kolkata. He lodged a complaint at the police station on Saturday alleging that the maid who had been working at his home for a long time, drugged the family and fled with cash and valuables.
