The State government has identified 42 children orphaned by COVID-19. These children have either lost both parents to COVID-19 or lost one parent earlier and the second to COVID-19. As many as 980 children in the State have lost one parent to COVID-19.More Related News

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
