Karnataka reopens schools today, UP postpones

Karnataka has reopened schools for various classes today but Uttar Pradesh held off their school reopening plans for a day because of the public holiday to honour the passing of former CM Kalyan Singh.

With various states across India reopening schools after around 18 months of closure due to Covid-19, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka were supposed to reopen schools for various classes today. While Karnataka was able to go ahead with its plans, Utter Pradesh had to defer the school reopening process for a day due to the death of former CM Kalyan Singh.
