After facing a severe shortage of medical oxygen during the peak days of COVID-19 in 2021, the State Cabinet on July 15 decided to provide incentives, including 25% capital subsidy, for companies to set up medical oxygen plants in Karnataka. At a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, the government decided to provide 25% capital subsidy on the value of fixed assets, subject to ₹10 crore minimum investment, to set up medical oxygen plants in Karnataka.More Related News

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
