Most users say they are unable to make calls despite the network being there. The company hasn’t issued any official statement on the same yet.
The outage tracking website DownDetector states that the Jio network has been down since 8:06 PM IST. As per the website, most users were unable to receive signal, around 66 per cent of them. The network issue seemingly occurred only to mobile users. The company’s broadband service remained unimpacted.
"User reports indicate Jio is having problems since 8:06 PM IST," the outage tracking website stated in its official tweet.
