Jayeshbhai Jordaar opened to mixed reviews, and it is bringing in low numbers at the BO. Despite its gripping theme revolving around a social issue, as well as ace acting skills showcased by the star cast, many found Jayeshbhai Jordaar unpleasing. According to reports, on Day 7, it earned Rs 17 crore at the total box office collection.

Hence, the total box office collection would now stand at Rs 17.84 crore approximately. Meanwhile, Jayeshbhai Jordaar had an overall 7.55 per cent Hindi occupancy on Thursday, May 19. Moreover, the film is facing tough competition from South films, including KGF: Chapter 2, which hit the cinemas on April 14, and Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a social comedy-drama written and directed by Divyang Thakkar. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films. Ranveer Singh plays the role of Jayeshbhai, a Gujarati man who fights patriarchy, while Shalini Pandey plays the female lead in the film. Ranveer Singh presents a new brand of hero and heroism here. Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah and Deeksha Joshi play supporting roles.
