Apple has once again edged out the Android market to grab the top spot in the list of most shipped 5G smartphones around the globe in quarter 3, 2021. Xiaomi and Samsung followed at second and third respectively but there is a dark horse in this race too.
Apple is still leading the 5G phone shipments around the globe. A new report states that all 5G iPhone models constitute 25 per cent share of the global 5G smartphone market. With this, Apple ranks at the top of the 5G smartphone market, followed by Xiaomi in second place and Samsung in the third position.
The numbers have been shared in a new report by Strategy Analytics. The report once again ascertains that iPhone is the best-selling 5G phone in the world. Apple's phones lead the category even though the tech major introduced 5G support on its phones only last year, way after other OEMs.

Samsung has been teasing its upcoming A-series devices since last week, without officially revealing their names. While speculation has largely pointed to the Galaxy A37 and A57, a lengthy video recently surfaced ahead of any official confirmation, revealing the key specs and pricing of the devices.
