Infinix Smart 6 is the company’s latest offering in the budget category. The smartphone is a successor to the Smart 5, which was launched a couple of months ago. The Infinix Smart 6 has been launched in the entry-level category. The phone, despite being a budget offering, comes with an interesting set of features including a huge display, a fingerprint sensor, 5000mAh battery,Helio A22 Quad-Core processor and more.
Talking about the new Infinix Smart 6, Anish Kapoor, CEO, Infinix India said, “True to Infinix’s philosophy, we are pushing the boundaries of value-driven innovation with the new SMART 6. We have optimized it with several category-first features like massive storage space, bigger and brighter screen, advanced fingerprint sensor security. For the first time ever, we have introduced a Silver Ion Anti-bacterial back design with silver ions being sprayed on the final finish.”
Infinix Smart 6: Price and availability
Infinix Smart 6 has been launched at a price of Rs 7499 in India for the lone 2GB variant. The smartphone will go on its first sale on May 6, 2022 on Flipkart. The Infinix Smart 6 has been offered in colours including Polar Black, Heart of Ocean, Light Sea Green and Starry Purple.
Infinix Smart 6: Specifications
Infinix Smart 6 features a massive 6.6-inch display with HD+ resolution. The display has a screen to body ratio of 89 per cent and produces brightness of 500 NITS. The smartphone is powered by the 12nm Helio A22 Quad-Core processor coupled with up to 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Smart 6 is the only device in this price segment packed with a dedicated Fingerprint sensor/ Face unlock for enhanced security. The Smart 6 runs Android 11 Go edition out of the box.
In the camera department, the Infinix Smart 6 features an 8MP dual rear camera with first-in-segment dual LED flash, accompanied by a depth sensor. The camera also has modes, including AI HDR mode, Time-lapse, AI 3D beauty mode, and Panorama mode. In the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies.
