IIT Bombay Professor Bhaskaran Raman, who works in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, wrote an open letter to the chief ministers of Maharashtra, Delhi and Karnataka urging them to set up a task force that would look into the reopening of schools. The open letter was issued by not just the professor, but several of his colleagues "at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, various doctors, professionals, and concerned parents from the states of Maharashtra, Delhi, and Karnataka."
