IIT Guwahati researchers have developed cost-effective and highly efficient perovskite solar cells to produce electricity from sunlight.
Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati have developed hybrid perovskite-based solar devices to produce electricity from sunlight, which are highly efficient, cost effective, easy to manufacture and easily recyclable. These emerging perovskite-based semiconducting devices are considered the most promising due to their lowcost, ease of manufacturing as roll-to-roll devices, high material availability and easy recyclability.
