IIT Delhi researchers have developed a device to generate electricity from raindrops, ocean waves, etc. and store the energy in batteries for further use.
IIT Delhi researchers have developed a device to generate electricity from water drops, raindrops, water streams, and even from ocean waves, and then store the energy in batteries for further use. The device is called ‘Liquid-solid Interface Triboelectric Nanogenerator’ and it uses ‘Triboelectric Effect’ to derive and store the energy.
