
Hyderabad bizman hacked near police station, 1 cop suspended

According to witnesses, the businessman was dragged out of his car on Bandlaguda Road and hacked to death by a few men.
A man was hacked to death just a few metres away from the Chandrayangutta police station, South Zone, in Hyderabad.
The deceased was identified as Zubaidi (37), a businessman from the Barakas area. According to witnesses, he was dragged out of his car on Bandlaguda Road and hacked to death by a few men. No passerby or policeman dared to intervene and the assailants fled the scene after killing him.‘’Three brothers have been named in the murder. Zubaidi operated a money transfer business and there was a financial dispute between them. We have formed special teams to nab the accused,” said South Zone DCP Gajrao Bhupal.Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar placed a sub-inspector from Chandrayangutta police station under suspension for dereliction of duties as the cops failed to act in time to save the man.
