Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra bans mass gatherings amid Covid surge

Owing to the rise in Covid-19 cases, Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district has banned mass gathering.

In view of the rising Covid-19 cases, Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district administration on Friday issued an order prohibiting mass gatherings. According to officials, the migrant labourers entering the city will have to stay in quarantine for seven days. In the orders issued by Kangra Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Prajapati, Holi gatherings have been banned as well.
