After India lost to Pakistan by 10 wickets in their opening match of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup in Dubai on Sunday, Indian political leaders came up with inspiring messages for the Virat Kohli-led cricket team. Known as a passionate cricket fan, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor congratulated Pakistan but hoped that India would “reverse this result in the final”. Shashi Tharoor, who was at the Dubai International Stadium to see the match, took to Twitter to share some moments from "a dispiriting evening”.
