Yadgir authorities enhance support for SSLC students by providing 24/7 study resources at Arivu Kendras ahead of exams.
As the SSLC annual examinations are fast approaching, the district administration, the Zilla Panchayat and the Education Department in Yadgir are constantly making hectic efforts and taking reformative steps to ensure good results.
The Education Department has already conducted special classes, overnight classes, group discussions, preliminary tests and taken other necessary initiatives to encourage students to write the exams comfortably and get good scores.
In addition to that, the Zilla Panchayat has now moved forward with another reformative step, asking gram Panchayats across the district to make all arrangements to enable students study at Arivu Kendras round the clock.
“A circular has been issued to all taluk panchayats, the Deputy Director of Public Instructions and all Block Education Officers asking them to provide drinking water, seating, evening snacks and other basic needs to SSLC students for exam preparation round the clock,” Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Lavish Ordia has said.
A total of 124 Arivu Kendras have been set up in 122 gram panchayats across the district.
Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Priyank Kharge earlier directed officials to set up Arivu Kendras in all gram panchayats with all necessary books not only for common readers but also for students and candidates who want to prepare for competitive examinations.
