The Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in Goa have been postponed due to the recent surge in Covid-19 cases across the country in the past month.
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has made the announcement of postponing the Goa board exams 2021 for Class 10 and Class 12 students in view of the rise in Covid-19 cases across the state. The students and parents, along with several opposition party leaders, were demanding the postponement of the board exams in view of the postponement of CBSE and CISCE exams, along with several national competitive exams. The Goa board exams 2021 for Class 10 and 12 students were set to begin from April 24 this year in pen-and-paper mode. Students are currently demanding the online conduction of the exams in view of the rapid spread of the pandemic.
