A dash of horror and action with the right comic timing gave Go Goa Gone its much-required edge.  In today's Monday Masala, therefore, we take a look at Raj and DK's Go Goa Gone, which released on this day 8 years ago.

There's no denying the fact that of late, Bollywood has been producing some very thought-provoking films. Makers are treading on paths left untrodden by others and have been offering viewers movies on subjects which would have never seen the light of day a few years ago. The audience is embracing this new wave of change in Indian cinema with open arms. However, one cannot deny the dearth of good horror/zombie films in Bollywood. The films that we have are heavily inspired by Hollywood movies and the worst part is they still don't meet your expectations. However, Saif Ali Khan's zombie comedy film Go Goa Gone, which released eight years ago, emerged as a success at the box office.
