Smartphone maker Gionee has launched a stream of smartwatches in India. The smartwatches that are named as StylFit GSW6, StylFit GSW7, StylFit GSW8 have been launched in India. The Gionee watches are equipped with health trackers including an SPO2 monitor, real-time heart rate monitor, calorie meter, sleep quality tracker and more. The watches are offered at different price points. Talking about the launch of the smartwatches, Pardeep Jain, Managing Director, JIPL that manages Gionee in India said, “Being healthy and fit has become more consequential than ever before. In recent times people have started considering smart wearables as an integral part of the modern lifestyle giving the much-needed boost to India’s promising smart wearable market amid the pandemic. As per the latest IDC report, smartwatches grew 463.8 per cent y-o-y (year-over-year) in the first quarter of 2021 to become the fastest-growing category in wearables. After a massive success of our Smart ‘Life’ Watches in India, we are very excited to launch our new range of smart calling watches.”
