Former BB contestant Jasmin Bhasin recalls receiving death, rape threats

Ex-Bigg Boss 14 contestant Jasmin Bhasin has revealed that she received rape and death threats after the reality show. And all of that affected her mentally at some point.
Television actress Jasmin Bhasin is best known for her role in Dil Se Dil Tak. The actress later featured in Bigg Boss 14 and that led to more success for her career. Though Bigg Boss 14 added a lot to her career, it also made Jasmin a target of constant bullying and trolling on social media. In a new interview, Jasmin recalled how she received rape and death threats after Bigg Boss 14. The actress added that all of it affected her mentally at one point.
In an interview with News18, Jasmin Bhasin opened up about the tough phase in her life. "Leave alone trolling, people hurled such toxic abuses at me when I left the Bigg Boss house. I received death and rape threats. And for what? Just because I did a show and they didn’t like me in it? What I faced was very serious. All of that affected me mentally at some point. But I got over it with medical help and my friends and family who love me," the actress revealed.
Jasmin added that today she doesn't come to know if anyone is trolling her. And it is because she is in a happy place today where she receives a lot of love. "Trolling is a very small part of it. I choose to ignore it. If people love me, I’ll return that love. If they hate me, that’s their choice. They can express themselves all they want, but I’ll ignore them because I don’t need to know about it. I’m, anyway, very busy in life," stated Jasmin.
On the professional front, Jasmin Bhasin featured in several music videos after her stint on Bigg Boss 14. The actress recently starred in Sajaunga Lutkar Bhi with her boyfriend Aly Goni. Jasmin and Aly have received good response for their music video so far.
