First-ever Ferrari EV to arrive in 2025

Ferrari has announced that its first all-electric vehicle will arrive in 2025 as the legendary marquee aims to take its portfolio of electrified products a step further.

The world is rapidly embracing electric mobility and Ferrari clearly doesn’t want to be left behind. At its recent annual general meeting, Ferrari confirmed its intention to launch an all-electric vehicle. The first-ever Ferrari EV will be unveiled in 2025 the company has announced. Speaking at the AGM, John Elkann, CEO, said, “You can be sure this will be everything you dream the engineers and designers at Maranello can imagine for such a landmark in our history.” Ferrari EV launch in 2025 is literally the only detail that has been officially revealed so far. Being a Ferrari, expect high levels of performance with a quad-motor setup, one for each wheel. Ferrari isn’t new to electrification having already introduced hybrid supercars including the LaFerrari and, more recently, the SF90 Stradale and Spider. However, as mentioned earlier, the product slated to arrive in 2025 will be its first all-electric car. Of course, purists will scoff at the idea of a Ferrari without a roaring V8 or V12 on duty, but as a company, it has no choice but to accept that future mobility is heading in the direction of electric vehicles and that it needs to be ready to meet those customer demands.
