Excise officer in Madhya Pradesh suspended for sharing porn video in official group

An excise officer in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa district was suspended after posting pornographic videos on the official group.

An excise officer in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa has been suspended for sharing a porn video on the official WhatsApp group. The assistant district officer, RP Ahirwar, was suspended following a complaint from the department.

Speaking to India Today/Aaj Tak, district excise officer Vikas Mandloi said that the assistant district excise officer RP Ahirwar shared a porn video clip on the excise department's official WhatsApp group on May 23 at 6:15 pm.

Even after 24 hours, the video was deleted, said Mandloi.

The video infuriated women employees in the department, who filed a complaint with the collector. The officer was found guilty by the department and was suspended for his inappropriate behaviour, Mandloi added.

Meanwhile, the accused officer said that he had been implicated in a conspiracy.

"I did not post the video. When I went to use the restroom in the office, someone used my phone and shared the video," RP Ahirwar said.
