ED raids human hair exporters in Andhra Pradesh, seizes Rs 2.90 crore cash

The Enforcement Directorate seized Rs 2.90 crore in cash following raids on eight human exporters' locations in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.

In connection with the smuggling of human hair from India to China, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at eight locations of human hair traders and exporters in Andhra Pradesh. The searches were carried out in accordance with the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
