Doctors are urging the Delhi High court to postpone the upcoming FMGE screening test in view of the current Covid-19 pandemic situation.
A group of doctors has come together to urge the Delhi High Court to consider the postponement of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) screening test, which is to be conducted this month, in view of the current pandemic situation. The Association of MD Physicians, which also consists of several foreign members, has decided to approach the Delhi High Court after it was announced that the FMGE screening test will be conducted on June 18 this year. However, the plea was opposed by the counsel for the National Board of Examination (NBE) and National Medical Commission (NMC) on the ground that it was only a qualifying exam that could be taken by petitioners even in December, if not in June and the test should not be postponed at the behest of a few candidates.
