Delhi schools will not be closed, while the Delhi Disaster Management Authority will soon release SOPs.
Amid the rising number of Covid-19 cases, Delhi schools will remain open. Delhi Disaster Management Authority on Wednesday conducted a meeting and issued new guidelines. As the Covid-19 cases have been reported in schools in the National Capital, wearing masks has again become compulsory.
All students and school staff must wear masks or else they will be penalised with Rs 500 by the authorities. SoPs for the schools will be prepared after consultation with experts. SoPs will be advised properly. Further, parents are advised not to send children to school if they show any symptoms.
A detailed list of Sops will be released shortly for all schools. It is even planning to keep a check on social gatherings and cases for at least a fortnight.
