Delhi Police arrested a burglar and recovered stolen clothes worth thousands from his possession in the Dabri area near Jhanda Chowk, Delhi.
Delhi Police arrested a burglar and recovered stolen clothes and grocery items worth thousands from his possession in the Dabri area near Jhanda Chowk, Delhi.
The accused was identified as Rahul aka Monu.
Based on a tip-off, police apprehended the accused who came into the area in a tempo. Upon checking, his tempo was found filled with huge quantities of clothes that were stolen from the Bindapur area.
During interrogation, a Honda City car, stolen from Ranjeet Nagar and which was used in many burglaries, was recovered at his instance.
The accused also disclosed that the remaining stolen items were stored in a rented shop. Dry fruits, soaps, shampoo, tea packets and several other grocery items in huge quantities were recovered from the shop.
