Alia Bhatt said that she doesn’t need to rest and feels alive while working. She is currently busy promoting Darlings.

Alia Bhatt has been going out and about promoting her film, Darlings. The film, co-starring Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma, marks Alia’s foray into production, as well as her OTT debut. Now, Alia has been working on multiple projects back to back. In fact, the year started with Gangubai Kathiawadi, and she was shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone almost simultaneously. So when Team Darlings arrived in Delhi to promote their film, she was asked if she feels tired or the need to rest especially now as she embraces motherhood. The actress tactfully said that she feels 'alive' when working.

Alia Bhatt has had a great year so far both personally and professionally. She delivered a massive hit in Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR, and is now ready to bring us Darlings. And, yes, she got married to Ranbir Kapoor and will soon welcome her first child with him. Does she get tired of juggling between so many back to back shoots? During the Darlings Delhi press conference, responding to this question, she said, “If you are fit and fine, there is no need to take rest. I get sukoon while I am working. It is my passion. It keeps my heart and soul alive and charged. I will work till I am 100.”

Alia Bhatt also spoke about how Ranbir has been taking care of her during pregnancy. She mentioned that while he is not massaging her feet, he is making sure to make her feel special. “He always takes good care of me. Now, he is even more careful. If you want to ask whether he massages my feet, he does not. But he does many things to make me feel special. Now, he does more of that,” she said.

Darlings will release on Netflix on August 5, 2022. Next up, she has Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji. In Brahmastra, she is paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor for the first time. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna, among others. Brahmastra will hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.
