Daily flights between Mangaluru-Mumbai Metropolitan Region goes up to six, five days in a week

Daily flights between Mangaluru and Mumbai increase to six, operating five days a week for enhanced connectivity.
With the start of summer schedule of airlines on Sunday, the daily flight connectivity, except two days in a week, between Mangaluru and Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), including Mumbai (BOM) and Navi Mumbai (NMI), has gone up to six.
On Monday and Thursday, there will be five flights to MMR, including two to NMI and three to BOM. On other five days, there will be three arrivals and three departures.
IndiGo operates all flights to the NMI, while it operates two daily flights to the BOM and the Air India Express operates the third daily flight to the BOM.
A total of 253 passengers arrived from the NMI to Mangaluru in three flights of IndiGo on Sunday, and 414 passengers departed from Mangaluru to the NMI in three flights of the same airline the same day.
International operations
Meanwhile, airport sources said there was no clarity on when international operations would fully resume from Mangaluru with both IndiGo and Air India Express indicating they might not do so till end of April, due to the ongoing conflicts in West Asia.
