Advanced medical equipment enhances critical care at Sri Sathya Sai Hospital, improving facilities for free treatment in Puttaparthi.
Advanced medical equipment was commissioned at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS), Prasanthigram, on March 29, enhancing critical care and surgical facilities.
The equipment was inaugurated by R.J. Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, in the presence of Puneet Kumar, Zonal Manager, LIC South Central Zone, and officials.
The additions included six Servo–C ventilators and three FX8 electrosurgical units, valued at ₹1 crore. The initiative was supported by the Life Insurance Corporation of India Golden Jubilee Foundation under its CSR programme, the officials said. The hospital continues to provide treatment free of cost.
