Had Swami Vivekananda's message of peace, justice and cooperation been accepted by the world on September 11, 1893, it would not have had to witness the horrific events of the 9/11 attacks, said President Ram Nath Kovind.
President Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday cited the message of peace, justice and cooperation given by Swami Vivekananda at the 1983 Chicago World Conference of Religions, saying that had the message given on September 11, 1893 been accepted by the world, the horrific events of the 9/11 terror attacks in the US could have been averted. The President's remark was made during a speech at an event in Prayagraj to lay the foundation stone for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh National Law University.More Related News
