
Christians hold rally in Kakinada seeking justice for pastor

Christian Youth Fellowship demands fair probe into Hyderabad pastor's death, holds peaceful rally in Kakinada with prayers and placards.
Hundreds of Christians, under the banner of Christian Youth Fellowship, holding placards with the picture of the Hyderabad-based deceased pastor P. Praveen Kumar, held a peace rally in Kakinada City on Monday. They offered special prayers on the roads and demanded a fair and transparent probe into the suspicious death of pastor by the State government.
Scores of women also joined the rally, which took place between Bhanugudi centre and the Collectorate.
Kakinada-based Christian Youth Fellowship International Director H. V. Murthy Raj, said: “We seek a fair and speedy probe by the police into the death of Mr. Praveen Kumar. The probe should give clarity on the exact cause of his death.”
Kakinada-based Bishops Jyothi Kumar and Joseph Benny also participated in the rally. The participants erected flex banners with the title - Justice for Mr. Praveen Kumar in Kakinada city. According to the Kakinada City police, the rally concluded peacefully.
