The Delhi Government has directed the schools in the national capital to ensure that students orphaned during the pandemic must be adjusted in the same school and must be given free education.
The Delhi Government has taken an initiative and has directed all the schools in the capital to ensure that students who have lost a parent or both after March last year must be adjusted in the same school and be offered free education. The instructions have been issued to private schools running on DDA or government allotted land. “All districts are directed to ensure that children who have become orphans or lost a parent after March 2020 either due to Covid-19 or otherwise, such orphans need due attention to enable them to continue their education in the school,” the Directorate of Education (DoE) said in the official order, as reported by PTI.More Related News
