Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo III, who was arrested for allegedly shooting dead six people and injuring 36 in Chicago on Monday, operated a YouTube channel that promoted music videos with graphic lyrics about shootings and death.

Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo III, who was arrested for allegedly shooting dead six people and injuring 36 in Chicago on Monday, was no stranger to violent and graphic multimedia content, it seems. While his accounts on online platforms have been taken down now, several reports and social media users said that he operated a YouTube channel that promoted graphic music videos about shootings and death and abstract lyrics.

At 5'11" Crimo weighs around 54 kg and has long hair. From the photos available online, it can be seen that he is covered in tattoos. He has tattoos of red roses and green leaves on his neck and his right hand and palm, the number ‘47’ on his right temple, four tally marks on his right cheek with a line through them, and a cursive script above his left brow.

Although his YouTube channel has been taken down, many of his videos are doing the rounds on social media. He purportedly went by the pseudonym ‘Awake the Rapper’ and most of his videos seemed to have abstract content.

In at least two of his videos, a stick figure with a gun and tactical gear can be seen. In one of them, the stick figure appears to have been shot dead by police.

According to Marca, in one of his raps, he says: "Like a sleepwalker, I am unable to stop and think. My actions will be valiant and my thought is unnecessary. I know what I have to do, I know what's in it, not only for me but for everyone else."
