
Chandigarh: Airline official blackmailed with video, extorted of Rs 50,000

A resident of Chandigarh who works for an airline alleged that a woman blackmailed him with an inappropriate video clip and extorted Rs 50,000.
Chandigarh police booked a woman for allegedly extorting Rs 50,000 from a Sector-34 resident after blackmailing him with a video. The victim works with a reputed airline company at a senior managerial position and has filed a complaint against a woman for blackmailing him using an inappropriate video clip.
Acting on the complaint of the victim, Inder Mohan Jeet Singh, police have registered a case of cheating (Section 420), cheating by personation (Sec 419), extortion (384) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and launched an investigation to trace the fraudsters.
