CBSE held a special online session for the principals and teachers of affiliated schools and universities to create more awareness on the nationwide Young Warrior Movement activated by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, YuWaah, Generation Unlimited in India and Unicef. The webinar highlighted the role of teachers and Principals as integral to fighting the pandemic and ways in which students can be empowered and engaged to be ‘Young Warriors’ in the midst of the pandemic. The keynote address was given by Dr. Biswajeet Saha, Director, CBSE, who was alongside Dhuwarakha Sriram, Chief of Generation Unlimited (YuWaah), Youth Development Partnerships, Unicef India. The webinar was attended by nearly 70,000 teachers and principals who came in support of the nationwide young people’s movement.
