CBSE Class 12 Term 1 result 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon declare the class 12 board examination results. As per reports, the CBSE class 12 term 1 results will be announced in the next few days. However, no official confirmation has been made yet from the authorities regarding the class 12 board results.
Here are some of the changes that students can witness after the Class 12 term-1 results are declared by the board.
According to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the board, before the commencement of exams, has announced that they will conduct the board examination in two- terms, i.e., Term-1 in the month of November- December and Term-2 in April- May respectively.
However, the Term-1 examination has been over and students of class 12 are eagerly waiting for their results to check their preparation level for the final Term-2 exams. The CBSE Term-2 exams will begin on April 26, 2022.
To ease the hardships of students, the exam conducting body has divided the syllabus for board exams into two parts so that students can prepare well for the complete syllabus and appear for the exam. Term 1 had a 50 percent syllabus and the term 2 exam will have the rest of the syllabus. The overall syllabus has also been reduced by 30 percent.
CBSE has also changed the evaluation criteria. According to the new criteria, term-1 was based on multiple-choice questions and the term-2 examination will be subjective and consist of a mix of questions like multiple-choice, short answers to long answers. CBSE will issue a pass certificate and marksheet only after the final result.
The board has also announced that from this academic year, no student will be marked as fail or pass based on their first term exam results. The final result will be declared after analysing the scores from both term-1 and term performance, including internal assessment and practical work.
